CBCT scanning

As well as serving our own patients, we are pleased to offer our CBCT scanning service to other dentists in the area through our referral service.

This scanner produces 3D images for implant dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons and maxillofacial surgeons. It enables dentists to accurately plan treatment, examining images produced from any direction.

CBCT scans are essential for the accurate placement of dental implants. It measures the depth, width and density of the jawbone, and more importantly, the depth of bone in the proximity of nerve canals and sinus cavities in a 3D view to ensure accuracy of 0.1 mm. Using a CBCT scanner for the placement of implants reduces risk and saves time due to fewer visits being required.

How to refer

To refer a patient for CBCT scanning, complete and return our referral form or visit our referral section here.

Once we have received your referral, we will contact your patient directly to arrange a convenient time for them to visit us for their scan. When this is booked, we will ensure you are kept up to date on their progress.

The scan will then be sent to you on CD or USB in the post, or sent electronically via WeTransfer, depending on your preference.
